The Software Internet Cluster conducted a quick survey of randomly selected members in October 2021 and generated short statistics on home office practices of regional companies. The survey focused on companies of the software and IT sector of various sizes and numbers of employees.
It was especially exciting that regardless of the size of the company and the number of employees, every company offers home offices for its employees. The exact number of days per week on which employees can use the home office was also analyzed, although a 4-day home office model practically does not exist.
Among other things, companies with a maximum of 10 employees primarily only offer 1 – 2 days of home office. In companies with 11-50 employees, more than 2 home office days are offered and 75% of all companies with more than 50 employees also offer home office 5 days a week.
