PIADENO® Green Energy Management GmbH is located in Klagenfurt and dedicated to the topic of virtual power plants. With the latest all-in-one software solution PIADENO® on Top there is an innovative service on the market that is unique in Austria. Asset owners can use it to combine their production, consumption and storage systems (e.g. PV system, heat pump and battery storage) in a virtual power plant and use them in electricity markets that are otherwise inaccessible to them.

In addition to conventional tasks such as feeding in excess electricity from PV and wind power plants or reducing current peaks (peak shaving), the energy of PIADENO® customers is also traded on the electricity exchanges, delivered to other consumers or used on the balancing energy market to stabilize the electricity grid. This not only results in economic advantages for PIADENO® customers, but also the general public benefits from a more stable and resilient power grid – keyword blackout prevention.
